Picker/Packer

Job Summary As a Picker/Packer, you’ll keep warehouse orders moving by accurately picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment. You’ll use scanning tools and material handling equipment to locate, verify, and move inventory while following safety and quality procedures. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers receive the right products in good condition and helps warehouse teams maintain reliable inventory. Responsibilities Pick items using order details and a radio-frequency (RF) scanner; verify products with barcode scanning for logistics. Pack orders securely, check quality, and prepare shipments for shipping and receiving. Stock and track products using a warehouse management system (WMS) and inventory management systems. Load and unload materials; operate pallet jacks and, when authorized, forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, or cherry pickers. Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and apply safe manual handling practices when lifting or moving heavy items. Requirements Warehouse experience, including picking and packing, order picking, packaging, stocking, and warehouse distribution or operations. Basic math skills and attention to detail for order checks, inventory management, and quality control. Ability to perform materials handling and heavy lifting safely; experience operating material handling equipment or other heavy equipment is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management and warehouse management systems is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Consistent safety protocol adherence and readiness to support load and unload tasks. Pay: $18.35 - $21.70 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Work Location: In person
