Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, and forklift equipment to meet daily targets. Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks safely following all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Use barcode scanners, RF (radio frequency) scanners, and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory and process shipments. Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting practices. Maintain organized storage by stocking shelves correctly, managing inventory levels within warehouse management systems, and conducting regular stock counts. Ensure quality control by inspecting items for damage or discrepancies before packing and shipping. Follow safety procedures diligently during all warehouse activities including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and packaging. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and inventory management systems. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects regularly while adhering to safety protocols. Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying shipments accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on order accuracy and quality control. Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures including PPE use and heavy equipment operation.
