Picker/Packer

Job Overview As a Picker/Packer, you’ll keep warehouse orders moving accurately and safely from storage to shipment. You’ll use scanners and material handling equipment to locate, pick, verify, pack, and stage products while supporting smooth warehouse operations. This active role involves standing, walking, and handling loads throughout the shift. Responsibilities Pick items against order details using an RF (radio frequency) scanner or barcode scanning tools; verify products and quantities before packing. Pack and label orders, perform quality checks, and stage shipments for dispatch. Receive, stock, and organize inventory; help load and unload deliveries and report discrepancies. Operate approved equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and cherry pickers, as authorized. Follow safety protocols, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system. Your impact: Accurate picking and careful packing help customers receive the right products in good condition and on time. Skills Essential: warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, order fulfillment, picking and packing, packaging, shipping and receiving, stocking, and inventory management. Essential: basic math, attention to detail, safe manual handling, ability to perform heavy lifting, and consistent safety protocol adherence. Essential: experience with RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, warehouse management systems, or other inventory management systems. Preferred: material handling equipment operation, including forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, order picker, or cherry picker; heavy equipment operation experience is an advantage. Preferred: warehouse distribution or warehouse supervisor experience. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
