Picker/Packer

Job Overview: As a Picker/Packer at our health food restaurant, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, assembling, and packing ingredients, meals, and customer orders for dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering services. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that every order is complete, properly portioned, and packaged with care. Responsibilities: Order Selection & Assembly: Accurately select and assemble ingredients, prepared foods, and beverages according to order specifications. Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Verify that all order modifications and dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, etc.) are correctly applied. Packing & Presentation: Pack orders neatly and securely using appropriate containers, lids, and packaging materials. Ensure that hot items and cold items are properly separated and insulated when necessary. Quality Control & Inspection: Inspect all ingredients and prepared foods for freshness, quality, and proper temperature before packing. Check for visual appeal, proper portion sizes, and correct garnishes. Ensure that expiration dates on packaged items (juices, snacks, etc.) are current. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
