Responsibilities Accurately pick items using order picker equipment, RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and manual methods to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring items are protected during transit and meet quality standards. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments with precision, adhering to safety protocols and proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries. Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to create a safe working environment for all team members. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against documentation and organizing stock in designated warehouse areas. Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and organizing materials for easy access. Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing processes to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems is advantageous. Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks is highly desirable; certification is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation is essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order fulfillment purposes. Previous experience in shipping & receiving or logistics will be beneficial in understanding warehouse operations thoroughly.
