Picker/Packer

Job Summary As a Picker/Packer, you’ll keep warehouse orders moving by accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment. You’ll use warehouse equipment and scanning tools, follow safety procedures, and help maintain organized inventory. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers receive the right products in good condition and on time. Duties Pick items using an order picker, reach truck, cherry picker, forklift, or pallet jack as authorized; load and unload materials safely. Pack and label orders, scan barcodes with an RF (radio frequency) scanner, and check items for quality and accuracy. Stock products, track inventory, and update records in the warehouse management system (WMS) and other inventory management systems. Support shipping and receiving, warehouse distribution, and daily warehouse operations through safe materials handling and manual handling. Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and perform heavy lifting as required. Experience Warehouse experience in picking and packing, order picking, packaging, stocking, or shipping and receiving is helpful. Familiarity with warehouse management, inventory management, order fulfillment, barcode scanning for logistics, and basic math is preferred. Experience operating material handling equipment and heavy equipment is an asset; follow site requirements for equipment use. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Demonstrate attention to detail, safe work habits, and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
