Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Picker/Packer and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that every order is fulfilled efficiently and with precision. Duties Efficiently pick items from inventory using order pickers, RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and manual handling techniques to fulfill customer orders accurately. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring quality control standards are met for safe delivery. Load and unload shipments utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and warehouse distribution protocols. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, inventory management system updates, and barcode scanning procedures. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) during all warehouse operations. Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments, documenting movements, and ensuring proper documentation is completed. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in picking & packing processes. Valid certification or experience operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management systems. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order fulfillment and inventory tracking. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and consistently meet physical demands of the role. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, quality control, or materials handling is highly desirable.
