Picker

Job Overview As a Picker, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by accurately selecting, scanning, packing, and preparing products for shipment. You’ll use warehouse management systems and material handling equipment to support order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and safe, organized distribution. Your impact: Accurate order picking helps customers receive the right products while enabling warehouse teams to fulfill orders smoothly. Responsibilities Pick and verify products using an order picker, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, and barcode scanning tools Pack and label orders, check product quality, and prepare shipments for dispatch Stock items and support inventory management by recording movements in inventory management systems Load and unload materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, or cherry pickers, as authorized Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and apply safe manual handling practices when lifting or moving items Experience Warehouse experience, including order picking, picking and packing, packaging, shipping and receiving, or warehouse distribution, is helpful Basic math skills and attention to detail for checking quantities, labels, and order accuracy Experience with warehouse management systems, inventory management, or warehouse operations is preferred Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and material handling equipment is an asset; equipment use must follow applicable authorization and safety requirements Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus; ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain safe work practices is important Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Work Location: In person
