Picker

Job Summary As a Picker, you’ll keep warehouse orders moving by locating, scanning, and preparing items for shipment. You’ll use warehouse equipment and inventory systems to pick accurately, pack securely, and help maintain an organized, safe operation. This hands-on role involves lifting, moving, and handling materials throughout the shift. Duties Pick and verify products against order details using an RF scanner and barcode scanning tools. Pack orders, label shipments, and support shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory control. Load and unload materials; operate pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, or cherry pickers as authorized. Use the warehouse management system to update order and inventory records and support order fulfillment. Follow safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain quality standards. Your impact: Accurate picking and careful packing help customers receive the right items in good condition. Skills Basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to follow order instructions and safety procedures. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting, and to use material handling equipment safely. Familiarity with warehouse operations, distribution, materials handling, packing, and inventory management; warehouse experience is helpful. Experience with order picking, picking and packing, quality control, shipping and receiving, and inventory management systems is preferred. Reach truck, forklift, order picker, pallet jack, heavy equipment operation, and warehouse supervisor experience are useful; equipment operation must follow applicable authorization and safety requirements.
