Responsibilities
• Pick inventory from warehouse locations according to pick tickets and order documentation.
• Package products securely and accurately to meet shipping and quality standards.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, kitting, and staging for carrier pickup.
• Support e-commerce order fulfillment by meeting daily productivity and accuracy goals.
• Handle materials safely, including moving, stacking, and organizing products in the warehouse.
• Use basic ERP or warehouse systems to confirm picks, update inventory, and track orders, as needed.
• Communicate with customers over the phone to resolve order errors or discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to maintain an organized, efficient, and clean work area.
• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines during picking, packing, and material handling activities.
• Adapt to changing workloads and schedules, including starting earlier when business volume increases.
Essential Skills
• At least 1 year of experience in picking and packing within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Hands-on warehouse experience, including basic understanding of inventory and material handling.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure orders are picked and packed accurately according to pick tickets.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to speak with customers over the phone and resolve order issues professionally.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, e-commerce-focused warehouse setting.
• Reliable work habits with the flexibility to adjust start times based on business needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack in a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems for order processing and inventory updates.
• Experience with kitting and order selecting for multi-item shipments.
• Comfort working in a small team environment with opportunities for growth as the warehouse expands.

Work Environment
This role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with a small team of fewer than ten warehouse workers, creating a collaborative and close-knit atmosphere. The company anticipates doubling the size of the warehouse team and relocating to a new facility in Katy next year, approximately ten minutes from the current site. You will work a day shift, Monday through Friday, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the expectation of flexibility to start as early as 7:00 a.m. during busy periods. The environment involves regular material handling, use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts for those trained, and standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift, with casual, practical attire suitable for warehouse work.

Pay and Benefits
