In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, maneuvering, and installing pianos of various sizes and weights. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, manual handling, and warehouse logistics will ensure each move is executed smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest safety standards. Duties Safely load, unload, and transport pianos using appropriate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and material handling equipment. Coordinate with warehouse staff to organize inventory for efficient movement and storage of pianos and related materials. Execute precise manual handling techniques to prevent damage to instruments and ensure safety during all phases of moving. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by preparing items for delivery or storage, ensuring proper documentation is maintained. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to plan moves, troubleshoot issues, and maintain workflow momentum. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or materials handling within a warehouse environment. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling tools safely and efficiently. Prior warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable. Strong manual handling skills combined with basic math abilities for measurements and calculations related to loading/unloading. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while adhering to proper ergonomic practices. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members during complex moves or logistical tasks.
