JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking an energetic and dependable Class A Route Delivery Driver to join our Phoenix team. In this role, you will safely operate company tractor-trailer delivery vehicles and deliver food products throughout the Metro Phoenix area and surrounding Arizona communities. The position includes multiple customer deliveries along assigned routes, with some longer same-day Arizona routes. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, organized, physically capable, and committed to providing excellent customer service. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Safely operate company tractor-trailer delivery vehicles throughout the assigned Arizona service territory. Complete multiple customer deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules. Deliver food products throughout the Metro Phoenix area and surrounding Arizona communities . Drive longer same-day routes as assigned, including Yuma, Tucson, Flagstaff, Sedona, Show Low/Navajo County, and Sierra Vista . Safely load and unload food products at customer locations. Operate an electric pallet jack and other material-handling equipment as needed. Verify products and quantities before and during deliveries. Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Secure products properly during transportation to prevent damage. Report vehicle maintenance, safety, product, or delivery issues promptly. Provide professional and courteous service to customers. Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, management, and customers. Follow applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations and Company safety and food-safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle. Assist with other transportation or warehouse duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) . 2. Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate, as required. 3. Acceptable driving record/MVR. 4. Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack. 5. Ability to lift and move food products weighing approximately 50–75 pounds . 6. Ability to repeatedly enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the workday. 7. Ability to safely perform loading and unloading activities. 8. Ability to work independently and follow assigned delivery routes and schedules. 9. Strong communication and customer service skills. 10. Reliable attendance and punctuality. 11. Ability and willingness to operate a commercial vehicle on longer same-day Arizona routes. 12. Ability to comply with applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations and Company safety requirements. 13. Prior experience in commercial truck driving or route delivery. 14. Previous food distribution, grocery, restaurant, retail, or similar delivery experience. 15. Experience operating an electric pallet jack or other material-handling equipment. 16. Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe commercial driving practices. 17. Experience making multiple customer deliveries per route. 18. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage route schedules efficiently. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Ability to lift and move products weighing approximately 50–75 pounds . 2. Ability to repeatedly enter and exit a tractor-trailer throughout the workday. 3. Ability to load and unload products at customer locations. 4. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform other physical activities associated with delivery work. 5. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment as required.
