Pharmaceutical Procurement Coordinator Boothwyn Pharmacy | Kennett Square, PA Job Type: Full-Time Department: Facilities Reports To: Facilities Manager Position Summary Boothwyn Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Procurement Coordinator to oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, and inventory management. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective procurement of pharmaceutical products, supplies, and materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to improve processes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing, procurement, and inventory of pharmaceutical products, supplies, and materials. Develop and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor inventory levels, expiration dates, product shortages, and replenishment needs. Prepare and process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve vendor or delivery issues. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and inventory reports. Analyze purchasing trends, inventory costs, and opportunities for operational improvement. Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Facilities to support business needs. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and applicable requirements. Assist with inventory audits, budget planning, and development of procurement procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, vendor management, or inventory management within a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment. Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong vendor negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and purchasing or inventory management systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
