Pharmacy Delivery Driver

Job Description: As a Delivery Driver for PharmaVida Rx Pharmacy, you are responsible for delivering prescriptions filled at our pharmacy to customer’s home or business. Assure deliveries are made in a timely and courteous manner. They will be responsible for collecting payment from customers. They will be responsible for learning new technology concepts used in the delivery of medications to both patients and facilities. On a daily basis he/she will make sure all deliveries are manually or electronically cleared out via POS and paper copies are filed in appropriate folders. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy. As a Delivery Driver, you will: Work with pharmacy staff to ensure that deliveries leave the pharmacy at the appropriate time and delivered to the designated location requested Transport and deliver medication and front store items to patients in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage or loss Maintain delivery log of activities per policy and procedure, which may include checking and/or logging recipient identification Report status and any problems to pharmacy management Ensure patient confidentiality Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Deliver all prescriptions to customer/patients home or business in a timely and courteous manner. Ensure all customer/patients served experience a high level of customer satisfaction and care. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Computer knowledge is preferred. Must possess a current and valid driver's license Must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery or customer service experience, 1 year (Preferred) Pay: From $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
