JMD Technologies Inc.Title: Pharmaceutical Procurement Specialist – SAP MM & P2P Location: Clayton, NC (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract – 1 Year Status: Accepting Candidates About the role Seeking an experienced procurement professional to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations , including MRO purchasing, inventory planning, raw materials procurement, and strategic sourcing. The role requires hands-on SAP , supplier management, and experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical or GMP environment. Key Responsibilities Manage procurement and purchasing of MRO items, raw materials, inventory, hardware, and consumables. Use SAP and MRP systems to generate purchase orders, manage inventory, and expedite material deliveries. Execute Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities, including obtaining quotes, supplier sourcing, returns, and purchase order processing. Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to improve cost, quality, and purchasing efficiency. Maintain supplier relationships and compliance with the Approved Supplier List and internal procedures. Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Facilities, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability for manufacturing campaigns. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of experience in materials management, purchasing, planning, inventory, or production control. Hands-on SAP experience , preferably in MM, PP, and FI/CO . Experience in procurement, P2P, and strategic sourcing . Pharmaceutical/biotech and GMP experience required . Experience with cost/value analysis, MRP systems, supplier management, and inventory planning . Compensation Hourly pay rate: $35/hr. Onsite position in Clayton, NC. Contract duration: 1 year.
