Patriot Truss & Components-Diesel Mechanic

Patriot Truss & Components is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vehicles, equipment, or machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues accurately and efficiently Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical resources to troubleshoot problems Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with company and industry regulations Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe Communicate repair needs, timelines, and costs with supervisors Stay current with new technology, tools, and repair methods Requirements The minimum work week to consist of Monday-Friday Normal hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Additional hours may be required at times to meet deadlines Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or similar role Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing forklifts is required Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical and electrical components Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs independently
