Patient Logistics Coordinator / RN

Role Overview Seeking a full-time, night shift Patient Logistics Supervisor RN responsible for overseeing the Patient Logistics Center operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain consistent center functions, supervise staff, and manage processes related to patient transfers, bed placement, and capacity management. Collaborate with hospital teams, physicians, and referral sources to optimize patient throughput and transfer processes. Ensure EMTALA compliance and uphold quality standards, documentation, and performance metrics. Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation within budget guidelines. Lead quality assurance initiatives, troubleshoot service gaps, and implement process improvements. Conduct employee evaluations, foster team development, and serve as a role model and mentor. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in a participating state. BLS certification required within 14 days of hire. Minimum of 3 years clinical acute care experience with supervisory roles. Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills. Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree, and experience in transfer center, bed management, or capacity planning.
