Parts Technician - Temp

Parts Technician Roles & Responsibilities: Servicing customers via multiple platforms, e.g. email, telephone, counter sales Assist in maintaining warehouse and parts inventory Updating invoices and internal repair orders Exceptional Customer Service and strong communication skills Assisting with back counter parts for the shop. Ideal candidate will possess the following: Has a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Parts Department Operations Municipal and Heavy Equipment experience an asset Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service Proactive customer communication Has excellent team ideology, with a strong emphasis on collaborative culture Has excellent communication skills, is highly organized and can manage paperwork efficiently Is independent and resourceful; has the ability to work under minimal supervision Is proficient with computers and supporting programs, e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point, etc. Has knowledge of mechanical parts, catalogs, distributors and dealers Has knowledge of inventory control and warehousing practices. Active safety culture participation and involvement Has a clean driving record and a valid Alberta class 5 driver's license Minimum 1st or 2nd year parts apprentice Journeyman parts certificate an asset.
