Your duties will include identifying parts and equipment, sourcing and procuring parts, as well as handling shipping and receiving. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records. Effective communication with department personnel is essential to determine priorities and requirements. Additionally, you will need to read and interpret schematic diagrams, manuals, and catalogues to accurately identify and determine the necessary parts. This position is based in Nisku on a 3x12 rotational shift. Duties: Including but not limited to; Parts Identification Ordering & Receiving Inventory Coordinating tools and maintaining tool crib Counting and Maintaining Inventory Picking Parts Orders Addressing the parts needs of Service Technicians in a timely manner Looking up Parts using all Resources Provided Billing & Invoicing Parts to Appropriate Service Orders Maintaining Parts Room Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of the heavy-duty mechanical industry. Journeyperson Parts Certificate Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Strong organization, time management, communication, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic computer functions. Prior experience in a parts department, preferably in the heavy truck parts industry. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Ability to lift to approx. 50 Lbs.
