Parts Technician
TKO Truck and Trailer Inc.Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts, and supporting procurement processes to ensure smooth operations across manufacturing and service departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with dealership or supply chain environments. The Parts Technician will play a critical role in maintaining efficient parts flow, supporting customer service, and optimizing procurement strategies. Responsibilities Manage and maintain inventory levels of parts using online quickbook system.. Source and procure parts through negotiation with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards Perform data entry related to parts orders, inventory adjustments, and procurement records Support demand planning activities to forecast parts needs based on production schedules and customer requirements Collaborate with dealerships, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating vendor performance for continuous improvement Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment safely when handling large or heavy parts Maintain accurate documentation of purchase orders, receipts, and inventory transactions Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests efficiently and professionally Support the implementation of supply chain best practices to improve overall efficiency Skills Proven dealership experience or background in automotive or semi-truck and trailer parts management preferred. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and negotiation techniques Mechanical knowledge relevant to automotive or industrial equipment is highly desirable Experience with inventory systems, quickbooks software, and demand planning tools Familiarity with supply chain management principles and inventory control practices Ability to operate forklifts safely in a warehouse environment Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Customer service orientation with strong communication skills This position offers an engaging opportunity for candidates who are organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to operational excellence.
