You are a product expert, a problem solver, and an owner of the retail experience. From finding the right replacement part to helping a customer select gear, accessories, or the perfect setup for their machine, you help turn what they ride into how they adventure. Why Join Basecamp Powersports? ● Opportunity to own and shape the customer retail experience ● Develop extensive knowledge of parts, gear, accessories, and powersports products ● Be part of a team that values accountability, performance, creativity, and culture ● Play a key role in helping customers turn their machine into an adventure that is uniquely theirs What You’ll Do Lead and Develop ● Take ownership of your personal development and continuously improve your parts, product, fitment, and retail knowledge ● Become a trusted product resource for customers and the entire Basecamp team ● Take ownership of how the retail space looks, feels, and functions for the customer ● Hold yourself accountable to a high standard of professionalism, presentation, and follow through Drive Operations and Efficiency ● Accurately identify, source, order, receive, and distribute parts for customers and the service department ● Maintain accurate inventory and ensure products are stocked, organized, priced, and presented effectively ● Coordinate with Service and Sales to ensure parts and accessories are ready when they are needed ● Follow established processes for ordering, receiving, stocking, returns, special orders, merchandising, and documentation Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience ● Own the retail experience from the moment a customer enters the department through the completion of their purchase ● Ask questions about how, where, and why a customer rides to help identify the products that will improve their experience ● Recommend parts, apparel, riding gear, accessories, and customization options that help customers fully outfit their adventure ● Create engaging displays and maintain a retail environment that encourages customers to explore what is new and what is possible ● Build long term relationships by becoming a resource customers trust for their machine, gear, and next adventure What We’re Looking For ● Experience in parts, powersports, automotive, retail, outdoor recreation, merchandising, or a similar customer facing environment ● Strong interest in powersports products, gear, accessories, and customization ● Ability to engage customers, identify needs, and confidently recommend solutions ● Strong attention to detail with the ability to research and identify correct parts and fitment ● Organized and able to manage retail responsibilities and multiple customer priorities ● Self motivated with a high level of accountability, creativity, and ownership What Success Looks Like ● A retail environment that is organized, engaging, current, and easy to shop ● Customers who receive knowledgeable recommendations rather than simply being pointed toward a product ● Growth in parts, accessories, gear, and apparel sales ● Accurate parts identification, ordering, receiving, and inventory management ● Strong coordination between Parts, Service, and Sales ● Customers who see Basecamp as a destination for outfitting their adventure, not simply a place to buy a machine or replacement part Compensation and Benefits ● Competitive wage plus a percentage of margin on products sold Entry level: $45,000 to $55,000 Experienced Parts Outfitter: $55,000 to $65,000 High performing Parts Outfitter: $65,000+ ●…
