In this energetic role, you will be the go-to expert for small motor parts and accessories, assisting customers with their needs, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth shop efficiency. Whether you have knowledge of lawn mowers and outdoor equipment or no knowledge at all, we still welcome you and the organization and joy that you will bring with you. Most of your day will be helping customers find the right parts quickly and confidently, but your priority and primary job is receiving parts, organizing parts, and registering parts. This position offers a vibrant environment where your organizational skills and possible expertise will shine, supporting both retail sales and dealership operations. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting parts and accessories, providing expert advice based on vehicle systems and repair needs Manage inventory levels through accurate stock control, ordering, and stocking to ensure availability of popular items. Maintain detailed records of inventory using Inventrakk, our software, and ensure proper documentation Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery Support vehicle maintenance by providing technical guidance on parts compatibility and automotive diagnostics Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge, and personalized service Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems with a focus on automotive repair and maintenance (Preferred, but not required) Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills to identify suitable parts for various vehicle issues (preferred, but not required) Proven experience in retail sales, inventory management, and order fulfillment within an automotive or dealership environment Excellent negotiation skills to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base effectively (Preferred, but not required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes Outstanding customer service skills complemented by effective phone etiquette and client communication techniques Organizational skills to manage stocking, merchandising, and sales processes seamlessly This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to leverage their organization and customer service expertise in a fast-paced retail environment.
