Parts, Shop & Fleet Coordinator

Help our crews start every day prepared. GCS Electric is looking for a dependable, organized, hands-on person to manage parts purchasing, prepare job materials, and keep our shop and trucks ready for work. You’ll work with our Scheduler and Project Coordinator to make sure materials are correct, orders arrive on time, and outstanding items receive follow-through. Your responsibilities: Compare supplier pricing and availability and order approved parts. Track orders, backorders, returns, warranties, and refunds. Prepare labeled job boxes and help load trucks. Pick up materials and deliver parts to job sites. Organize inventory, tools, and returned materials. Keep the shop and truck interiors clean and organized. Coordinate fueling, vehicle maintenance, and service appointments. Collect and label job receipts. Sort mail and handle checks and deposits using company procedures. Communicate problems early and follow tasks through to completion. What we’re looking for You show up reliably, notice what needs attention, keep accurate records, and take ownership of your work. You enjoy a mix of computer tracking, supplier communication, driving, and practical shop duties. Electrical-parts, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or fleet experience is helpful. Basic computer and email skills are required, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving requirements. The position includes loading materials, cleaning, and outdoor tasks. Join our team Our goal is happy customers and prepared crews. Performance reviews at two weeks, 30 days, 90 days, six months, and one year provide opportunities for pay increases as you demonstrate proficiency and take ownership of the role.
