Acton Toyota of Littleton is seeking a Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk. Job Summary We are seeking a Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk to receive, verify, check in, distribute, and stock parts, dealership mail and supplies; prepare items for shipment. Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Insert items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding; ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications. Post weight and shipping charges, and affix postage and shipping labels on packed cartons and packages Unpack examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages Physical Requirement Ability to stand, bend or reach for extended periods of time Must be able to bend and lift up to 100lbs Ability to operate forklift and other machines necessary for lifting heavier objects Qualifications Prior shipping and receiving experience as well as billing and invoicing with be helpful Excellent written and oral communication skills Attention to detail and organized Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Basic computer skills, experience with printers, fax machines, etc. Schedule We are seeking a full-time parts shipping and receiving clerk, minimum of 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Additional Information This position requires a background check, sex offender check, drug screening, and holding a clean driving record.
