Parts Shipper/Receiver

Deerland is a well-established and progressive multi-store John Deere Agricultural, Turf and Utility Dealer with stores in Fort Saskatchewan, Vegreville and Athabasca. We are currently accepting applications for a parts shipper/receiver at our Vegreville location. Duties include, but are not limited to: Determine appropriate shipping methods and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other required shipping documents Assemble containers and crates; package goods for shipment and ensure proper labeling and documentation Load and unload goods from trucks and other transport vehicles Inspect and verify incoming shipments against invoices or supporting documents; record shortages and report or reject damaged goods Unpack and distribute inventory to designated storage areas Maintain accurate internal records and inventory tracking systems Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move, load, and store materials safely and efficiently Qualifications and Requirements Previous forklift experience is required Willingness and ability to work extended hours during peak season, including some weekends (April–October) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team This position is primarily indoor based Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract is required Ability to lift 45lbs or more Basic computer knowledge Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Full-time position Immediate start available Pay: From $45,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Extended health care RRSP match Work Location: In person
