Parts sales and runner

Job Summary As a Parts Sales and Runner, you’ll help customers and service teams find the right semi truck parts and keep orders moving. You’ll combine friendly customer service, accurate sales and inventory work, and timely delivery of parts. Your impact: By matching parts to repair needs and delivering them promptly, you help customers get back on the road and service teams complete work efficiently. Duties Assist customers with parts and accessories sales in person and by phone; ask clear questions and use mechanical knowledge to identify suitable options. Process sales orders Pick, stock, organize, and deliver parts; support order fulfillment, inventory control, and semi truck parts management. Communicate with customers and service teams, build customer relationships, and use negotiation and phone etiquette to resolve questions. Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Office and, where used, a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); follow vehicle maintenance and workplace procedures. Skills Essential: Customer service, sales, communication, organization, cashiering, cash handling, stocking, and order fulfillment skills. Essential: Semi truck parts and accessories knowledge, mechanical troubleshooting, and familiarity with vehicle systems, automotive repair, diagnostics, maintenance, and automotive service. Preferred: Retail sales, sales management, inventory management, semi truck parts management, dealership experience, and experience with POS or CMMS. Preferred: Semi truck parts sales, auto parts and accessories sales, client communication, retail math, and multilingual or bilingual abilities.
