Parts & Procurement Coordinator

Job Summary JDS Mobile Medical is seeking a Parts & Inventory Coordinator to support our service, shop, and operations teams. This position is responsible for managing inventory, ordering parts, tracking shipments, supporting technicians, and helping keep projects moving forward. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who understands that supporting the business means doing what is needed to get the job done. The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, and willing to assist across departments when necessary. Key ResponsibilitiesParts Management Source and order parts, materials, and supplies Obtain pricing and availability from vendors Track purchase orders and deliveries Ensure technicians receive required parts on time Research replacement parts for medical trailers and equipment Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when applicable Daily trailer checks Inventory Control Maintain accurate inventory records Perform regular inventory counts Monitor stock levels and reorder critical items Organize and label warehouse, parts room, and storage areas Track tool and equipment issuance Service & Shop Support Create and process parts requests Coordinate with service technicians and shop personnel Assist with work order administration Support warranty and return processes Follow up on backordered items Help ensure projects remain on schedule Administrative Duties Maintain purchasing records Assist with invoice matching and receiving documentation Update inventory and purchasing reports Monitor open orders and communicate status updates Support management with special projects as needed Qualifications 2+ years of inventory, purchasing, warehouse, parts, or service coordination experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and inventory systems Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed Preferred Experience Fleet, transportation, manufacturing, RV, trailer, automotive, construction, or service industry experience Purchasing and vendor management Inventory control systems Parts sourcing and procurement Field service support What We're Looking For: This is not a position where someone simply stays behind a desk and says, "that's not my job."
