Parts person

Job Summary As a Parts Person, you’ll help customers and service teams find the right tractor or lawn mower parts and also Semi truck parts and accessories. You’ll combine product knowledge, customer service, and organized inventory practices to keep orders moving and support smooth vehicle maintenance and repair. Your impact: Accurate parts recommendations help customers and technicians complete repairs with the components they need. Duties Assist customers with parts sales, retail sales, and product questions; build strong customer relationships through clear client communication and professional phone etiquette. Identify parts using knowledge of vehicle systems, tractor diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and lawn mower repair and maintenance needs. Manage inventory control, stocking, order fulfillment, and automotive parts management; use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or point-of-sale (POS) tools as needed. Process sales and cashiering, handle cash, apply retail math, and support sales management, negotiation, and marketing activities. Coordinate with customers and service teams to resolve parts inquiries and support automotive service and vehicle maintenance. Requirements Strong customer service, communication, organizational, math, and mechanical knowledge; familiarity with automotive parts and accessories is important. Experience in automotive parts sales, auto parts and accessories sales, inventory management, or dealership settings is helpful; knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred. Ability to use or learn POS and CMMS systems and handle stocking, order fulfillment, and cash handling accurately. Retail sales, sales, cashiering, and customer relationship-building experience are valued. Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
