Position Overview: The Parts Mover is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely movement of aircraft engine components, parts, assemblies, tooling, equipment, and other materials throughout the MRO facility. The position supports the efficient flow of material between Receiving, Teardown, Cleaning, Inspection, Repair, Assembly, Storage, USM, and Shipping areas while maintaining proper identification, segregation, and traceability of material. The Parts Mover works closely with Technicians, Inspectors, Quality, Materials, Taggers, Parts Cleaning, Shipping & Receiving, and Operations to ensure material is available at the right location at the right time. This position is an operational support role and does not independently determine the airworthiness, serviceability, repairability, or certification status of aircraft material. Duties and Responsabilities: Safely move aircraft engine parts, components, assemblies, hardware, tooling, and materials throughout the facility. Transport material between designated work areas according to work orders, travelers, system instructions, or supervisor direction. Stage parts and materials for technicians and inspectors. Retrieve parts and materials when requested by shop personnel. Ensure material reaches the appropriate destination in a timely manner. Prioritize movements based on production requirements and supervisor direction. Verify part tags, labels, containers, part numbers, and other identification before moving material. Maintain the identification and traceability of parts during transportation. Ensure parts remain associated with the correct work order or material status. Maintain proper segregation of material with different statuses. Do not move unidentified or questionable material without supervisor direction. Report missing, damaged, illegible, or inconsistent tags immediately. Ensure material is placed in the correct designated location. Operate approved material-handling equipment when trained and authorized. Use carts, dollies, pallet jacks, racks, containers, lifting devices, and other equipment as applicable. Perform required pre-use inspections of equipment. Follow approved lifting and handling procedures. Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately. Ensure equipment is returned to its designated location after use. Other related duties can be assineg. Qualifications and Skills: Ability to safely move and handle parts and materials. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail. Good organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment. Basic computer skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience Required: Previous experience in aviation MRO, aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, material handling, or a similar environment preferred.
