PARTS MANAGER POWERSPORTS

Tampa Bay Powersports is NOW HIRING a Parts Manager! We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and organized Parts Manager to lead our busy Powersports Parts Department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, parts, and accessories. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the daily operations of the Parts Department. Lead, train, coach, and motivate Parts Department employees. Provide excellent customer service to retail customers and dealership departments. Work closely with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the correct parts when needed. Order OEM and aftermarket parts and accessories. Monitor purchase orders, backorders, special orders, and parts deliveries. Receive, inspect, label, and properly stock incoming parts. Maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize inventory discrepancies. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory. Monitor obsolete and slow-moving inventory. Maintain proper pricing, margins, and department profitability. Track parts sales, gross profit, inventory performance, and department goals. Process parts returns, warranty claims, cores, and vendor credits. Maintain strong relationships with OEM manufacturers and parts suppliers. Ensure parts are correctly identified and compatible with the customer's vehicle. Assist customers with parts, accessories, riding gear, and product recommendations. Develop accessory and parts sales opportunities. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional Parts Department. Maintain attractive parts, accessories, and merchandise displays. Monitor daily workflow and assign responsibilities to Parts Department staff. Work with Sales and Service management to improve dealership communication and customer satisfaction. Monitor department expenses and work toward established sales and profit goals. Maintain accurate records and reports using dealership management software. Follow all dealership policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer requirements. Stay current on new products, OEM parts, accessories, and Powersports industry trends. Perform other duties as assigned by dealership management. BRANDS & PRODUCTS Experience with Powersports products is strongly preferred, including: Experience with motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, scooters, and related accessories is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS Previous Parts Department or Powersports dealership experience preferred. Previous management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage inventory and department profitability. Computer and dealership management system experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment. Ability to work effectively with Sales, Service, and other dealership departments. Ability to lift parts and merchandise and remain active throughout the workday.
