We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support our service and repair teams. Your expertise in supply chain management, supplier relations, and automotive diagnostics will drive efficiency, optimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including sourcing, purchasing, pricing, demand planning, and inventory control to meet operational needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, delivery terms, and sourcing strategies to ensure reliable supply chains. Oversee warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, storage optimization, equipment repair coordination, and logistics inventory management. Coordinate with internal teams such as automotive service technicians, auto body repair specialists, and procurement to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and projects. Implement best practices in parts administration, procurement management, and internal communication to streamline workflows and improve customer service. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement management, or automotive parts management within a manufacturing or automotive service environment. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, OEM parts sourcing, and auto body repair processes. Hands-on experience with inventory management systems such as ERP systems or specialized inventory control software; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage logistics inventory management, shipping & receiving operations, and warehouse workflows efficiently. Excellent negotiation skills combined with mechanical knowledge to source quality parts at competitive prices while maintaining supplier relationships. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and parts administration; ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure. Exceptional internal communication skills to collaborate across departments and ensure smooth operations from procurement through delivery.
