Parts Manager

General Job Description: Oversee the ordering, storage, pricing, and distribution of replacement parts and accessories for business Requirements: Must understand and follow company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Personnel Practices. Must understand and explain the use and requirements of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must be able to explain the purpose of MSDS on chemicals used in the facility. Must understand proper use and storage of chemicals. Must be Forklift Certified or subject to certification training. Tracks stock levels, forecasts parts needs, reconciles inventory counts, and minimizes obsolete or stagnant stock. of parts Generates purchase orders, coordinates OEM or aftermarket orders, and performs three-way matches between purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips. Negotiates pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers, and handles vendor returns, core exchanges, and credits.
