Parts Manager

Island Watersports is seeking candidates for position of Part Manager. The candidate should be a team player. Half of the day will be spent working with technicians and service writers to bill out parts. The other half of the day may include working independently to count inventory, list items online, and/or creating purchase orders. Key roles: Maintain physical inventory counts Placing orders with vendors and receiving orders once they arrive Billing parts on repair orders for service writers and technicians Listing of parts online such as eBay, Facebook, Amazon, etc The candidate must be proficient on a computer with Microsoft and Windows-based programs. Excellent communication written and verbal. Experience with boats and looking up parts from diagrams is a must. Extensive automotive parts experience may suffice. Must be able to transit flight of stairs multiple times per day, lift and carry up to 70 pounds. Previous technicians encouraged to apply. Experience with eBay and other online platforms would be helpful. If not familiar, must be willing to learn.
