Duties Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct outdoor power equipment parts and accessories, providing expert advice on small engine systems and repairs Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts or retail space using inventory management systems such as IDEAL Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit, and electronic payments with professionalism Collaborate with service technicians and sales teams to fulfill orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery for outdoor power equipment repairs or maintenance Maintain detailed records of parts orders, stock levels, and customer interactions to support inventory management and sales tracking Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person, building strong relationships through excellent customer service and product knowledge Support outdoor power equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting efforts by understanding small engine maintenance procedures and mechanical troubleshooting techniques Skills Extensive knowledge of small engine parts, accessories, and small engine systems with a focus on repair processes Strong organizational skills for inventory management, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment Proficiency in computer applications for record keeping and communication Experience with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and cashiering procedures Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) to serve diverse customer needs effectively Knowledge of small engine diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and maintenance techniques Negotiation skills to upsell products and close sales confidently while maintaining customer satisfaction Familiarity with dealership operations or retail sales environments is preferred Ability to operate IDEAL software for inventory sales purposes Strong phone etiquette to assist customers professionally over the phone Mechanical knowledge related to small engine repair procedures to support client inquiries and technical assistance Join us in delivering outstanding outdoor power equipment solutions!
