Parts & Inventory Support Associate

Parts & Inventory Support Associate Work & Play Powersports Work & Play Powersports is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Parts & Inventory Support Associate. This is a support-focused position responsible for receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining an organized parts department, assisting with inventory control, and providing cashier and front-counter support. This is not primarily a sales position. The ideal candidate enjoys staying organized, working as part of a team, and helping keep daily department operations running smoothly. Primary Responsibilities Receive incoming parts, accessories, apparel, and merchandise Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items Label, organize, and stock merchandise in the proper locations Maintain clean and orderly shelves, displays, counters, and storage areas Assist with inventory counts and help investigate inventory discrepancies Pull and stage parts for customers, technicians, and other dealership departments Notify appropriate employees when special-order parts arrive Operate the cash register and process customer payments Assist customers with pickups and basic parts-counter transactions Direct technical or product-selection questions to a Parts Specialist or Parts Manager Help process returns according to dealership policies Support shipping, receiving, and general departmental operations as needed Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and organized Strong attention to detail Friendly and professional customer-service skills Comfortable handling payments and operating a point-of-sale system Able to use computers and learn dealership inventory software Able to work independently and as part of a team Able to lift, carry, and move parts and merchandise as needed Previous retail, cashier, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or inventory experience is preferred but not required Familiarity with motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, or powersports products is helpful but not required Must be willing to work normal business hours of Tuesday- Friday 9-6, and Saturday 9-4. What Success Looks Like A successful Parts & Inventory Support Associate keeps inventory accurate, merchandise organized, shipments processed promptly, and customer transactions handled professionally. This person supports the entire parts department by being reliable, efficient, and willing to help wherever needed.
