Parts Expeditor

The Parts Expeditor is responsible for ensuring inventory is correct and complete. This individual is also responsible for the staging of materials for the production floor. Additional duties include building crates for shipments and helping to load and unload trucks as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Receive items by unloading trucks and trailers, accepting deliveries, and unpacking containers Verify items received by inspecting condition of items, comparing count of items to purchase order and packing slip and noting discrepancies Document items received by recording identifying information Ensure inventory accuracy through bi-weekly cycle counts Receipt material into inventory using ERP Software Issue material to production using ERP Software Accurately pull material according to traveler requirements and stage to production floor Place materials in inventory according to procedure as well as pulling product from stock locations Operate forklift and other equipment as needed Prepare shipments by building crates, packing, labeling, stretch wrapping to ensure product quality is not compromised Generate paperwork required for shipping to vendors/customers in the required format including packing slips, bill of ladings, certifications, labels Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Work Location: In person
