Parts Driver /Parts Counter Person

Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to clients, repair shops, and internal departments promptly and efficiently. Assist customers at the parts counter by providing knowledgeable advice on automotive parts and accessories, ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Maintain inventory control by stocking shelves, organizing parts, and conducting regular stock checks using inventory management systems. Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and electronic payments, and manage cash handling procedures responsibly. Collaborate with the sales and service team to identify customer needs, promote relevant products, and build strong customer relationships through excellent service. Utilize automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting skills to assist customers in selecting the right parts for vehicle repairs or maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols and company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair or dealership environments with knowledge of automotive parts and accessories. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively using inventory management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Familiarity with POS systems, Microsoft Office applications, and retail math for accurate sales processing. Mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist with vehicle systems and maintenance queries. Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or auto parts sales is highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organization.
