Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load and unload parts using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Drive designated routes confidently, ensuring timely delivery to customers or job sites while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Assist with dealership operations by moving parts within the facility using manual handling equipment and supporting inventory management tasks. Communicate effectively to coordinate routes, report issues, or update delivery statuses. Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, ensuring compliance with safety protocols for weight handling in the workplace. Provide courteous service to customers during deliveries, addressing inquiries professionally and fostering positive relationships. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or commercial truck driving is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and moving items safely. Knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and safe lifting practices in a warehouse environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
