Parts Department Driver/Stock Person

Job Summary Keep automotive parts moving, organized, and ready for the service team. As a Parts Department Driver/Stock Person, you’ll support parts administration, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and timely deliveries. You’ll use automotive parts and accessories knowledge, mechanical knowledge, and accurate data entry to help the department serve customers and support automotive service. Your impact: Accurate stocking and dependable deliveries help technicians and customers get the parts they need to keep vehicle systems operating. Duties Receive, inspect, stock, and organize parts; maintain inventory records using inventory management systems. Pick, pack, and deliver parts; support shipping and receiving.. Communicate with service Qualifications Essential: Valid driver’s license and ability to safely handle, organize, and deliver parts; accuracy with data entry and inventory control. Essential: Strong internal communication, organization, and customer service skills. Preferred: Experience in automotive parts management, parts administration, automotive service, logistics inventory management, or logistics. Preferred: Familiarity with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, automotive diagnostics, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), manufacturing, and vehicle systems. Preferred: Exposure to supply chain management, supply chain, procurement management, negotiation, sourcing, sales, and inventory management systems.
