As a Parts Demand Planner II, you’ll analyze demand signals, develop forecasting models, and provide insights to improve inventory flow and customer service levels. If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about supply chain excellence, this is your chance to make an impact.

Job Description:

  • Develop and deploy forecasting models to understand demand signals across product groups and branches.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate and actionable forecasts.

  • Consolidate data from multiple sources into robust demand forecasts and maintain integrity across industries.

  • Monitor forecast accuracy and customer service KPIs, implementing improvements as needed.

  • Provide clear signals to management on demand patterns, risks, and mitigation strategies.

  • Contribute to monthly purchase plans and monitor changes in sales forecasts and budgets.

  • Participate in projects aimed at improving customer service levels and reducing operational costs.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, branches, and interdepartmental teams.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Conduct regular touchpoints with sales teams to capture upcoming demand changes.

  • Update and maintain forecasting models and related systems.

  • Analyze inventory flow and identify constraints or opportunities.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate performance and trends.

  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and meetings.

  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting and planning accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent work experience will be considered.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain and forecasting systems.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, advanced Excel skills, and tools like Power BI.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and demand planning processes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to manage complexity and prioritize work effectively.

Important:

  • This position is based out of our Edmonton head office.

  • Permanent, full-time role.

  • Monday – Friday, 5x2 schedule.
