Parts Delivery Driver Associate

Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and secure parts using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize time and fuel consumption. Deliver parts directly to customers’ locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for all shipments. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance schedules. Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items. Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred. Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and customer interactions. Experience operating commercial trucks, box trucks, or vans with manual transmission is highly desirable. Knowledge of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts to move heavy items safely. Ability to adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards during all aspects of driving and manual handling tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Excellent communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and coordinate with team members effectively.
