PARTS DELIVERY DRIVER

Duties Safely operate a truck to deliver parts to various locations like mechanical/body shops and dealerships. Load, unload, and handle materials using equipment such as pallet jacks or manual lifting techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices at all times. Will need to get Forklift certified as well. Employer will pay for certification. Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies. Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures when necessary, and document delivery details accurately. Communicate professionally with customers upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse operations by moving parts within the facility using material handling equipment when required. Experience Clean driving record required! Previous experience in delivery driving or courier roles is highly desirable but not required. Warehouse experience including material handling, heavy lifting, and moving items safely in a busy environment. Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe driving practices. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks confidently and safely. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication purposes. REQUIREMENTS Valid Driver Licenses Fork Lift Certification (If not certified, once employed, employer will pay for certification test).
