This position is responsible for safely transporting parts to customers and company locations, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries throughout the day. Typical tasks include loading and unloading parts, verifying orders against delivery documents, maintaining delivery logs, and obtaining customer signatures or confirmations. The driver communicates with the dispatch or parts department regarding delivery status, follows established routes and schedules, and assists with organizing inventory or parts staging as needed. The role also involves performing basic vehicle inspections, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, and providing courteous, professional service to customers at each stop. Qualifications Ability to safely operate company vehicles and follow all traffic, safety, and company procedures. Strong attention to detail for verifying orders, handling documentation, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with customers and internal teams. Basic physical fitness to load, unload, and move parts of varying sizes using proper lifting techniques. Reliable time management skills to follow routes, meet delivery schedules, and adapt to changing priorities. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; eligibility to meet company insurance requirements. Comfort working in an on-site, field-based role in various weather and traffic conditions in Greater St. Louis. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in delivery driving, logistics, or parts distribution is a plus.
