Parts Counter Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a Parts Counter Technician to join our team at Dyersville Carquest. Individual must be reliable, self-motivated, able to multitask. Good knowledge of automotive parts is a plus -- willing to train the right individual. In this role, you will be using a computer cataloging system to find parts for customers and their vehicle needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories, using a computer based cataloging system. Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Maintain organized records of parts orders, and customer interactions to ensure efficient order fulfillment. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge sharing, and personalized service. Qualifications Excellent communication skills Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy retail setting. Knowledge of automotive, agricultural, heavy duty parts a plus.
