Parts Counter Person

Wentworth’s Wilsonville Chevrolet is seeking an experienced parts counter professional to join our parts department. The Wentworth family has been in the transportation business since 1903 and is currently in the fifth generation of ownership with their Wilsonville Chevrolet location. This is a family owned and operated business who really tries to create a family atmosphere where employees enjoy coming to work. Responsibilities: Identify and look up parts accurately using GM electronic parts catalogs, VINs, and vehicle information. Assist service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale accounts at the counter and by phone. Prepare price quotes, check availability, and place stock and special orders. Monitor backorders and communicate order status and delivery updates. Process parts invoices, returns, credits, and core transactions accurately. Receive and stock parts, maintain organized bins, and assist with inventory counts. Work closely with service advisors and technicians to keep repairs moving. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Professional appearance. Previous automotive dealership parts counter experience required. Working knowledge of electronic parts catalog systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple requests in a busy department. Professional communication, customer service, and follow-through. Reliable attendance and a team-oriented attitude.
