Job Title: Experienced Auto Parts Counterperson Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift, including mandatory Saturday shifts License Requirement: Valid Driver’s License (Clean Abstract) Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Experienced Auto Parts Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for our customers, helping them identify and source the exact parts they need. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in automotive parts, paired with a solid understanding of small engine components (e.g., lawnmowers, chainsaws, weed eaters, etc)If you are organized, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you! Core Responsibilities Customer Service: Assist walk-in and phone customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive and small engine parts. Parts Lookup & Sourcing: Utilize electronic parts catalogues, inventory systems, and supplier networks to find correct part numbers and place orders. Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and stock incoming parts shipments; maintain a clean, organized, and accurately tracked inventory system. Commercial Support: Handle orders for local garage accounts and mechanics, ensuring accurate deliveries and billing. On-the-Road Tasks: Utilize your valid driver's license to occasionally assist with parts pickups, urgent hot-shot deliveries, or inventory runs.Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience working in an automotive parts store, dealership, or heavy equipment parts counter. Technical Knowledge: Proven knowledge of small engine parts and outdoor power equipment is highly preferred. Availability: Must be able to work Saturdays as part of the standard shift rotation. Computer Literacy: Strong proficiency with digital inventory management software and parts lookup systems.
