Parts counter/delivery driver

Job Overview As a Parts Counter/Delivery Driver, you’ll help customers and service teams find the right automotive parts and accessories, complete orders accurately, and keep deliveries moving. You’ll combine customer service, retail sales, inventory management, and safe, dependable driving. Your impact: Accurate parts recommendations and timely order fulfillment help customers and technicians complete repairs and maintenance with confidence. Responsibilities Assist customers at the counter and by phone; use clear communication, professional phone etiquette, and customer relationship building to understand their needs. Apply mechanical knowledge, vehicle systems familiarity, and automotive parts and accessories knowledge to identify products and support automotive diagnostics, repair, and service needs. Process sales and orders using point-of-sale (POS) systems; handle cashiering, cash handling, retail math, and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel. Maintain inventory control through stocking, inventory management, and, where applicable, a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); prepare and deliver orders safely. Support automotive parts sales, retail sales, sales management, marketing, and negotiation activities while keeping records organized. Experience Customer service, client communication, organizational skills, math, and order fulfillment skills are important. Experience in automotive parts sales, auto parts and accessories sales, automotive parts management, dealership experience, or automotive service is helpful. Familiarity with automotive repair, mechanical troubleshooting, vehicle maintenance, and maintenance practices is preferred. Microsoft Office, Excel, POS, CMMS, inventory control, and cashiering experience are useful; bilingual or multilingual communication is a plus. A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required for delivery duties.
