Parts Counter Associate

Overview Now Hiring: Automotive Parts Counterperson Join Our Dealership Team! We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our dealership's parts department. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and an interest in the automotive industry. Automotive parts experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Job Responsibilities Assist service technicians, service advisors, and retail customers with identifying and ordering automotive parts. Look up parts using dealership and manufacturer parts catalogs. Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders accurately. Receive, stock, organize, and label incoming parts shipments. Communicate with parts suppliers and manufacturers regarding availability, pricing, and delivery times. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional parts department. Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers and dealership staff. Follow dealership policies and procedures to ensure accurate inventory and efficient operations. Qualifications Previous automotive parts experience preferred. Knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and terminology is a plus. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dealership management software. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
