ABOUT US The LARGEST dealer for Cottrell Trailers is growing and looking to add to our team! East Coast Truck & Trailer Sales, Inc is located in Portsmouth, VA and is the largest auto transport dealer in the U.S. We specialize in auto transport, towing, and heavy duty truck and trailer sales, service, and parts. We are the largest dealer for Cottrell Trailers! Our Service facility is equipped with 18 state of the art maintenance bays which include: (2) truck wash bays, (6) tractor/trailer drive through mechanical bays, (1) front end alignment bay, (2) welding drive through bays, which include frame alignment tooling and overhead lifts, and (1) Quality Control bay. Our Service facility is open Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm and Saturdays 7:00am to 4:00pm POSITION SUMMARY Inside Parts Counter Sales Representative in our Parts Department: The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will have inside counter sales experience with truck/trailer parts. Knowledge of Karmak system a plus. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS · High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) · Minimum of 1 year experience dealing with truck/trailer parts in wholesale or retail setting · Ability to identify basic truck/trailer parts without help from a blueprint · Ability to multi-task · Must have excellent customer service skills · Ability to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis · Knowledge of Karmak system will set you apart from the rest JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Act as an ambassador for our parts dept in public and on the phone. · Process orders from the general public while working the front counter. · Maintain a safe and clutter-free work space at all times. · Answer phone calls from customers in a prompt and professional manner. · Research customer parts requests and sell parts to customers over the phone or in person.
