Parts Counter Associate

Company Overview Petroleum Wholesale L.P. is a privately owned motor fuel distributor headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, with operations across nine states. Its Main Street Market concept combines fuel with grocery, hardware, automotive, dining and other retail services. Job Overview As a Parts Counter Associate, you’ll help customers find the right automotive parts and accessories while keeping orders and inventory moving smoothly. Your impact: Accurate recommendations and dependable order fulfillment help customers maintain and repair their vehicles with confidence. Duties Assist customers in person and by phone; use clear communication, professional phone etiquette and customer relationship building to understand their needs. Apply automotive parts and accessories knowledge, mechanical knowledge and familiarity with vehicle systems to identify suitable products and support basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting. Process sales, returns and orders using point-of-sale (POS) systems; handle cashiering and cash handling accurately, and apply retail math and general math skills. Support inventory management and control, stocking, order fulfillment and automotive parts management; Provide customer service and retail sales support, using negotiation and sales skills to help customers choose parts and accessories. Maintain a clean and organized store environment. Experience Customer service, retail sales, cashiering or automotive parts sales experience is useful; Knowledge of automotive repair, automotive service, vehicle maintenance and maintenance practices is preferred. Strong organizational skills and client communication are important. Sales management experience is helpful. Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are welcome.
